01Biography

Michael Faison Jr.

Attorney Faison began his path in law at Methodist University, where he earned his degree in Criminal Justice, before going on to earn his Juris Doctor from North Carolina Central University School of Law.

His legal career has given him a well-rounded perspective on the justice system. He has served as a mediator, worked as a Public Defender in Cumberland County, and later served in Guilford County as an Assistant District Attorney, where he gained valuable insight into prosecution strategy. He then returned to criminal defense, practicing privately before opening his own firm.

Through each step of his career, Attorney Faison remains committed to making sure clients feel heard, informed, and strongly advocated for. At Faison Law Firm, he brings experience, strategy, and dedication to every case.

In His Own Words

A short introduction from Attorney Faison.

A two-minute introduction to the firm, the practice, and what to expect from the first conversation.

02Philosophy

What the work demands.

Law practiced well is equal parts craft and character — the craft of preparation, the character to tell a client the truth.

Direct communication

No call centers, no layered intake. You’ll always know who’s working your case and how to reach them.

Prepared every time

Every hearing — first appearance or trial — is approached with the same preparation standard. It is the quiet discipline that wins cases.

Honest assessment

Clients get the truth about strengths, weaknesses, and likely outcomes. Never a sales pitch.

Respect for the record

What happens on paper outlives the courtroom. Motions, petitions, and final orders are written with the care they deserve.
